R.LAPID’S CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) 2014

 Part of R.Lapid’s 40th Anniversary Celebration is to give back all the blessings the company has gained for 40 years in the industry through these people very close to the heart of everyone, the children. The CSR conducted in Pinalagad Elementary School, Malinta, Valenzuela City on October 24, 2014 wherein 280 students coming from Kinder and Grade 1 were the recipient of the useful present we prepared for them like goods, school supplies, shoes and a lot more surprises.
The activity was led by a short program arranged by the management. This program was opened with a prayer for the Lord’s guidance and thanksgiving, followed by singing the National Anthem and a short and inspiring deliberation from the R.Lapid’s Admin Head- Ms. Anais F. Lapid.
The students were very pleased with the foods and games, and also entertained with the ventriloquist and balloons. The most awaited part was the distribution of tote bag led by R.Lapid’s President Mr. Rey Lapid, Vice President Mrs. Violeta Lapid, Admin Head Ms. Anais Lapid, Valenzuela Coun. Lorie Borja and Pinalagad Elementary School Principal-Dr. Fe Padrinao.
With all the effort and time that the company has rendered to make this event possible, we were very much overwhelmed with the heart-warming surprise number from students sang the song “Make me a Servant” that really touched everyone’s heart. The program was ended with closing remarks from Mr. Rey Lapid , Coun. Lorie Borja and School Principal- Dr. Fe Padrinao.
R.L. Foods Corp. believed that this event has been an instrument to give happiness, inspiration and hope to the children to study hard and to reach what they want to become in the future.
We would like to acknowledge Cherubin Balloons, July Manufacturing Co.,Inc., and Ms. Gloria Bernardo for their generosity in providing other needs of this children and for making this event a memorable one.
