R. Lapid’s Chicharon and Barbecue, owned by R.L. Foods Corp. has reached a new milestone in globalization standards.
R. Lapid’s, which is known for their pork rind products has received its HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), a management system in which food safety is addressed through the analysis and control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards from raw material production, procurement and handling, to manufacturing, distribution and consumption of the finished product, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), a system for ensuring that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards. Certification by SGS, a world leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company.
The Certification ceremony happened last February 20, 2020 at Brentwood’s Suit Quezon City. The company president and founder, Mr. Rey Lapid emphasized that this achievement is a product of the teamwork and hard work of all of the people who is part of the company.
